KINGDOM OF ETERNITY
She has no reason to live …
Eighteen-year old Tess Morgan can’t live with the abuse anymore. Continued beatings by her father has left her broken, both in body and spirit. Taking the only two things she has – her beloved dog, Gino, and a yard sale necklace she couldn’t resist to buy – she prepares to take her own life. Before jumping off the cliffs, she cries out to a God unknown to her.
Everyone he loves is dead.
Widower Jason Logan has nothing left to live for. The agony of losing both his wife and unborn child is more than he can bear. Drinking heavily, he is angry with the world and even angrier with God. Clutching a mysterious necklace his wife left for him, Jason drives into the woods with his gun, intending to end his misery. As he weeps, he cries out to God right before pulling the trigger …
Can they find love and happiness in a place of suffering?
Ancient Egypt, 1447 BC. The land is filled with anguish. The foretold plagues have begun, and the Nile is filled with blood. Tess and Jason wake up in different locations, both confused and unsure if they are dead or dreaming.
One finds their way into Pithom, while the other is taken captive and brought to Goshen, the land of the Hebrews. When the Israelites are finally allowed to leave Egypt, Tess and Jason are amongst the great walking multitude. Will Tess find her necklace, which had been taken from her? Or will they be forced to wander the wilderness for forty years with the Children of Israel?
