Hello and welcome to my site.

My name is Nancy and I live in the northwestern part of beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

 It was during my last year of high school that my love for art was ignited. Learning about the Group of Seven, painting with oils, and visiting the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto were some of the highlights I remember.

Since then I have discovered and tried out many different mediums – from charcoal, pencil drawings, to watercolour, pastels, and my favourite one, acrylics, and the use of gold leaf and inks. I also love using modeling paste, to bring texture and depth to the paintings, using spatulas and kitchen knives, creating unique patterns and rhythms, which can be seen and felt in the finished paintings.

I learn and discover new things every day, diving deeper into the world of colour, always fascinated like a child, discovering the immense possibilities, while I explore light and depth with my brush .

I will always be a student, learning from the Almighty Creator.
